Mastering the At of Emotional Intelligence in Leadership

Training Objectives:

At the end of this training, participants are expected to:

  • define and identify the five key components of Emotional Intelligence (EI)—self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills—and explain how each component enhances leadership effectiveness;

  • .assess their own emotional intelligence using an EI self-assessment tool and develop a personalized improvement plan with at least three specific strategies to enhance their emotional intelligence for better leadership; and

  • demonstrate at least two emotional intelligence techniques (e.g., active listening, conflict resolution, emotional regulation) in a role-play scenario, receiving feedback from peers to improve their application in leadership contexts.
